I Manifested m&m’s
I believe in manifestation. Not the kind where you sit on your couch and scrunch your face up and wish really hard for a sack of cash to drop into your lap; the other kind.
Still steeped in magic, this manifestation has to do more with uncovering blocks, upping your self worth, really digging in and uncovering your authentic self. And then, of course, attempting to live your life as this newly-found you.
It’s damn hard when you are over 50 when you begin this work. But I’m plugging along, and the other day I am pleased to announce that I manifested a bag of m&m’s. Here’s the story:
I popped on into my library job at 1:00 on Monday and slid my salad into the li’l fridge, shelved some books, picked some items for inter-library loans, and generally began my shift like I always do. Then, out of nowhere I craved a pack of plain m&m’s. I toyed with the idea of texting my daughter to encourage her to bring me some after she was finished with work. Instead, I let it drop and went about my day.
For whatever reason, the spiritual powers-that-be decided they would reward me with my sugar bomb, because an hour later, my sister walked into the library and dropped a large brown bag of m&m’s on the front desk, said something cute about providing sustenance, and exited.
I was speechless. This is not typical behavior for her. I whizzed right past goosebumps and actually felt shock trickle through my body. So cool. Anyway, I’m obviously feeling pretty powerful now and will try to manifest something even more exciting next time, like a fully-sustainable mansion with infinity pool and gaggle of mini horses.
Okay, so to go deeper, I really do believe our energy communicates amongst we humans and animals in ways we can’t possibly understand logically. Besides the obvious side effects we will see when trying to better ourselves in order to manifest, I think we also can tap into some of that energy that just feels magical and fun. As in manifesting m&m’s.
I love when stuff like this happens! For me, it’s usually when I’ve been thinking about chocolate all day and my husband grabbing some on his way home from work and surprising me with it. 🙂
Ahhhhh! Is there anything better than chocolate manifestation?
